Description

In Pinnacle Point, Aron is on a desperate mission to search for his lost brother who got tangled up with a sinister corporation that claims to offer a solution for immortality. As he infiltrates their ranks, he uncovers a horrifying truth: their version of eternal life comes at a great cost. Aron must navigate this treacherous world, risking his own soul, to save his brother from a fate worse than death.

Pinnacle Point – Story Summary

Aron’s life has unraveled since the day his brother disappeared. When a mysterious phone call offers a chance for answers, he’s drawn back to an island he thought he had left behind—a place tied to a corporation whose pursuit of immortality left scars that never healed. Aron’s brother was caught in their grip, and now Aron must return to uncover the truth.

The island is not deserted. Its inhabitants remain, living in the shadow of what transpired, with some still clinging to the past. As Aron searches for his brother, he’s pulled into a tangled web of forces, where everyone seems to know more than they admit. The deeper he ventures, the more he begins to question not only why he was lured back, but whether the truth he’s after is worth the price he would have to pay.

In Pinnacle Point, survival means confronting a past that refuses to stay buried and facing the possibility that some answers are better left undiscovered.

About Ready2Run Games

Pinnacle Point is a passion project from me, Robin Shen, the solo developer behind Ready2Run Games.

After 15+ years working as a software developer, I’ve channeled my love for storytelling and technology into creating games. Pinnacle Point is my biggest project yet, combining psychological horror, survival elements, and a deeply personal narrative that explores memory, self-discovery, and fear.

With a strong focus on atmosphere and player immersion, I’ve taken on every part of the game’s development myself—from coding and story writing to art design and even experimenting with video blending techniques to bring the game’s unsettling world to life. My goal with Pinnacle Point is to create a truly haunting experience that keeps players on edge while unfolding a story that lingers long after the credits roll.
